10 Courageous Women

CELEBRATE WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH 

Join St. Lawrence County Historian Nancy LaFaver for a special event on Sunday, March 16th at 1pm at the Ogdensburg History Museum. LaFaver and friends will be presenting a Readers' Theater-style performance of "10 Courageous Women of St. Lawrence County," highlighting the remarkable achievements of women in the county.

The event, located at 207 Ford St. in Ogdensburg, is free and open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the inspiring stories of women who broke social norms, drove policies, and changed lives for all women in St. Lawrence County.

In celebration of Women's History Month, LaFaver will share insights on these courageous women in St. Lawrence County. The presentation will feature notable women such as women’s suffragist Marion Sanger Frank, artist Sally James Farnham, and physician Dr. Mary Bryan.
